Detailed Description

The 25458 can facilitate wiring when many wires need to be connected to one terminal. This kit contains one 15906 5-inch DIN Rail Mounting Bracket, two 505 screws, two 6044 grommets, and two 15908 DIN Rail Stoppers. A complete configuration will also include pn 15920 Terminal Strips, pn 15907 End Plates, and pn 15909 Jumpers (see Ordering Info). The stoppers, terminal strips, and end plates are mounted onto the DIN rail bracket. The DIN rail bracket is mounted to an enclosure backplate using the kit’s screws and grommets.

The 25458 is often used in RWIS applications, and is ideal for connecting multiple 4 to 20 mA sensors to a CR200(X)-series datalogger.

  1. If a system has multiple CS650 or CS655 sensors, it will be necessary to connect many wires to a 12 V supply and many wires to ground. The DIN Rail Mounting Kit is useful for attaching many wires to the same source in a clean and organized way. For more details, see the 5458 DIN Rail Terminal Kit instruction manual

    Other methods of connecting several wires together, such as terminal strips or wire nuts, would also work.

  2. The 25458 5-inch DIN Rail Mounting Kit can be used when many wires need to be connected to one terminal. Another option is to use a wire nut to gang multiple wires together and to run one pigtail to one of the data logger universal terminals or control ports.
