Send one way data between data loggers using IP

R.AriasFont Mar 9, 2020 08:55 PM

Hi all,

I will like to send some data between two CR1000X. Both of them are connected using fix IP addresses and are two far apart to make a wire them. I have seen this can be done using commands as DataSend, but I am struggling to understand how to specify the IP address of the other data logger.

Could someone provide with an example of a basic program?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance,

Best,

Raquel

I would use the PakBus TCP Client setting in one datalogger to link the two together via TCP/IP. Both datalogger will need to have different PakBus addresses before setting this up. Once the dataloggers are links by this setting, then doing a SendData from one datalogger to another should do the trick (using the Route option for the comport).
