The 21831 is a half-wave dipole whip antenna designed to attach directly to the SMA connector of a cellular modem operating at a frequency of 850 MHz. An antenna cable is not required. The 21831 is a lower-gain, omnidirectional antenna that transmits short distances.

The 21831 is compatible with any radio that has an SMA jack connector that operates between 824 and 896 MHz. Specifically, it is compatible with the RavenXT-series and LS300 cellular modems with SMA connectors. It is not compatible with the TNC antenna connections of the Raven100-series and Redwing100-series modems.
